
J-B Huang , an IEEE senior member, received his B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in electronic engineering from Nanjing Institute of Technology (Southeast University now), Nanjing, China, in 1983, 1986, and 1989, respectively. He obtained his post-doctorial certificate from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 1995.
   Dr. Huang was a Lecturer (1989-1992) and then an Associate 
Professor and Vice Chair of Electronics Department, 
 Southeast University 
(1992-1993). From 1993 to 1995, he was with
UCLA as a research associate. 
After that he spent one year as a visiting scientist at
Cornell University.
Between 1996 and 1999, he was with Systems and IC Design Laboratory 
in Sarnoff Corporation (which 
was RCA Laboratories, and then David Sarnoff Research Center)
as a MTS (member of technical staff). 
Since 1999, he has been working in 
HPA (high performance analog) group and System Power Solutions group of 
Texas Instruments Inc. (TI), first as an Unitrode Corporation (merged with TI) 's principal engineer, a MGTS (Member of Group Technical Staff) since 2002, a SMTS (Senior Member of Technical Staff)  and a design manager since 2008.
His expertise includes integrated sensors, MEMS (micro-electro-mechnical 
systems),  ESD (Electro-Static Discharge) protection design, 
and analog / mixed signal IC design and development.
